Making my first appearance in two months... I see we got more followers, many of you see me for the first time.

While being away, I've been quite busy. I passed all my exams, and have been trying to figure out what new study to start (which is really hard for me; did not succeed yet). Also, I finally re-did my room, streaked my hair in blue, violet and teal. The blue faded in 3 weeks time. The purple faded to pink, and the teal is now a poison green. I love how it looks now, but I will probably redye again (green is almost turning blond).

I took some pictures while on holiday, I thought I'd start off blogging again with these.

The weather in Holland still hasn't brightened up and as a matter of fact the forecaster only show more clouds on their way! It's a good thing I'll be traveling soon in August *whoop whoop* :). I'll be Interrailing and for those who have never heard of it, it basically comes down to traveling by train through Europe! This trip will be totally different than what I'm used to, but I'm a diehard when it comes to traveling so it's all gooood! I'm superduperr excited and can't wait to leave Holland again…until then tights and long sleeves will do.

Mykonos was without a doubt one of the favourite city's I have been to. The streets on the island were all like small alley's and each one brought us to the cutest stores, restaurants and houses. Everything on the island was in white and blue as if everybody agreed on this was how the island should look. And as the crazy cat lady I am, I couldn't be more happy about all the cute cats running around on the island. I'll let the pictures speak for themselves now :)

I'm back in rainy gray Holland and I got some catching up to do! I'm excited to show you guys all the amazing pictures from the trip! :)

On our way to Greece we spend one whole day at sea. It was really weird being on a cruise since I didn't have the feeling I'm was on a ship at all. On the boat were game rooms, a beauty salon, a spa, a theatre, several restaurants, a shopping mall and many more places where I could spend time. It was like we were in a small city! But as soon as I got on deck, I realized I was in the middle of nowhere! I loved how peacefull the sea was and the beauty of nothing but water ahead. I was wearing COS shorts and tee + Vintage shoes. It's been hard to get on the internet from where I am. I've been on a cruise ship since a couple of days and as we speak I'm blogging from the middle of the sea! We started of taking a plane to Venice and stepped on board in this huge cruise ship. Since then we have visited the beautiful city Ancona and are now heading to Greece! It's unbelievable what this boat has to offer deck swimming pools, a casino, shopping mall, a game room and probably more I haven't discovered yet! Our journey until now:

I wore this outfit yesterday and although the weather is cooling down by the day, I couldn't resist to wear these bright yellow pants to summer it all up. The sweater was perfect to hold me warm all day. And yes, you may have noticed it already, but this Zara bag has become my e.v.e.r.y.d.a.y. bag. I can't not wear this with every single oufit. It also feels refreshing not to be dragging big bags full of books and a laptop. Yes, it's summer vacation indeed :)

Since I live in the city it can be overwhelming and exhausting sometimes. Today I was in the mood for a peaceful day out and, as the weather cooled down I decided to go biking. Nearby our house there's a beautiful park where I like to spend some time for fresh air every once in a while. The jacket, I bought a few days ago and I'm already in love with it. I throw it on with whatever I'm wearing and it spices up every look. :)

Looks like summer has finally hit Holland :) At least for the last couple of days, as we speak now rain is pouring down.

Let's hope mother nature will spoil us again tomorrow.

I've been relaxing, strolling through the city, cooling of with ice coffee and enjoying late night picnics with friends.

On days like these I'm all about comfort and this Mango romper brings me there all the way.

What I like so much about fashion is that I can change my style everyday and dress the way I feel.

Yesterday I wanted a feminine look, a look I haven't worn for a while. I reached for a cute skirt ( with heart print), and a pair of feminine heels. I decided to go to Amsterdam, and ended up with lots of cool pieces which I will be showing you guys soon! :)

She was sick for quite a while and since a few days she was unable to eat and drink properly.

I don't know why, but I always end up snapping pictures whenever I get bored :P. These are some pictures I made during May.

The kittens in the pictures are Nana (white) and Moshi (gray), they are the cutest things I know (Yes, I'm a crazy cat lady :P).

I'm a big fan of photography and especially the ones taken with film.

On my last birthday Rona gave me a book with the best work of Sarah Moon.

Before Sarah had started as a photographer she finished art school and worked as a model.

You can see she was in the fashion industry by her photographs of famous designer work (such as Alexander McQeen).

The one thing I really love about her work is that she is able to illustrate the feeling and atmosphere of that time,

place and person. These are one of my favorites out of the book:

Yesteday I went to a big tea event (heaven, as I'm a bit of a theaholic)!

We had all sorts of tea, yummy pastries and great perfomances who entertained us to the fullest!

I wore a H&M jacket, Online purchased dress and my Diana boots :)

we listened to great performances, including these two cute sisters!

This is what I wore today. I already had some snaps taken, but I erased them from my camera without saving properly, ugh! :(

Luckily I was able to shoot some others quickly... I'm wearing: Diesel jacket, online bought top, Mango jeans, Zara heels and a Guess bag.

I haven't worn these jeans in ages, but I like how it makes the shoes peep out :)

Yesterday's outfit which I wasn't able to upload because of some issues Blogger had (I'm sure you guys all had some problems).

Blogger also deleted comments, but I'll try to answer the questions you guys had left me.

I wore a vintage polka dotted dress and detailed it with a brown waist belt. I like taking pictures in my bedroom every once in a while.

It's way more relaxing and I also like that it gives a more personal twist to the outfit pics :)

On mothersday we visited the Japanese garden here in the Hague. Even though the place was filled with visitors, you could still feel the peacefulness in the garden. This time of the year is my favourite time, because it fills our gray country with lots of color! :) For the outfit, I decided to go for a simple look with a playful touch wearing the orange socks. Unfortunatly Rona wasn't able to come along because of her last exams coming up. Actually, as we speak she is still studying! Fingers crossed and I'll talk to you soon guys! :)

The weather was so good yesterday! I decided to dress more summery and what screams more summer than a bright blue uniform covered with doves? I have been wanting to wear these two items together for a while, but couldn't find the right time until yesterday. Lately I'm really into 'uniforms' and just can't resit buying when I see one.

On another note, today is mothersday! And I probably don't say this enough, but thank you mom for always being there for me and for just being the sweetest thing around! <3

We will be celebrating mothersday in a Japanese garden here in The Hague!

Yeah...so I cut my hair AGAIN. I didn't like how ordinary my other haircut was, and I have always wanted to have shorter hair. So yesterday night I went ahead and cut my hair shorter. I like it, but I don't think everybody else does... I also bought 3 colors of hairdye to streak my hair in blue green and pink/purple. Results of that in a week or so. Oh and outfit post soon! Today we went to Amsterdam to do some shopping and just roam around the city.

We actually visit Amsterdam often since we have friends living in and around the area,

This is an outfit I wore in Japan! I realized I had never shared this outfit, so while I'm still in the books, I thought it would be fun to share this! I long back to the easy breezy outfits and careless days I had over there...without a doubt the best summer I have had!

We recently got tagged by the lovely Miranda from summertimeden. We have to name 14 things we are going to do in 7 days time. Evantually we decided to divide 7 points each. I will start and although I'm not that familiar with getting tagged here goes! :)

Sorry for the lack of updates guys! Rona has been sick for almost a week which means no outfits and no photographer for me..please bare with us for now. Meanwhile I want to introduce you guys to Brett Manning, she is one of my favorite illustrators. Her drawings are so detailed and always a great inspiration for me.

I love the rawness and the touch of ethnic patterns in her drawings. This last one is my favorite. I have a small version hanging in my room. I'm drawn to the amazingly detailed garment and the drowend vibe. For more drawings you can check out her website here. Oh, and expect outfit posts soon! :)

This vintage dress is one of my favorite dresses. It has perfect length and how cool is the folk print right?! The weather is still a bit cold over here even though the sun has been out. It's misleading really, I have learned my lesson after freezing my but off a couple of times... I seriously can't wait to feel the warmth of the sun again. I also need to do some spring shopping :)

I'm wearing my favorite vintage piece! I love lace pieces, so imagine how happy I was when I found this vintage cardigan in Tokyo! I love all the strings and the slightly cowboy look to it. Topped it off with chunky Jeffrey Campbell boots.

Just a comfy and slouch outfit. Wore this to drop by the city centre. I haven't worn these shoes in a while...They are a bit high, but still quite comfortable..plus make no sound when walking, I love that!

A quick outfit post, these were taken a few days ago. I had quite some errands that day, so I wasn't able to take a lot of pictures. If you scroll down quickly, you don't even see a difference between the new and the old. Some of them haven’t changed at all over the years, which makes the series even sweeter!

My favorite is the one in the bathtub. It's such a cute childhood photograph and the ‘future’ one is so hilarious!

I got these suspenders at a vintage store in Tokyo last summer. I love a vintage boy-ish look and these suspenders are getting me there all the way. The oversized cardigan is so warm, I stole this one from my brother because it's still too cold outside!

The days are really short which makes it quite hard to get proper outfit pictures outside. I seriously can't wait for summer, the long warm days and dressing in nothing more than dresses, shorts and tee's...

Ok, back to the outfit: how cool is this jacket right? When I first saw it hanging, I knew I had to have this one in my closet. I love the embroidery and the strong shoulders! This is one of those purchases that you can just throw on and will make every outfit look sweeeet! :)

Finally a post together again!! These are the outfits we wore yesterday when mist flooded the whole city, which made everything darker and colder.. Making pictures outside is difficult these days, because the days are becoming shorter. I'm wearing my new amazing vintage coat, I love the patterns on it. Don't be fooled by the pictures, I have the worst time trying to move my arms in this coat, the leather is still so stiff (that will come to an end soon). Rona is wearing her new vevlet leggings. They give a very cool look to the oufit, but unfortunatly you can't see it in the pictures.

I am really into black lace & velvet these days. I've always tried to wear more colour, but right now i'm trying to wear more all-black outfits. I really like the mysteriousness in black outfits, and how it shows that colour is not needed to stand out.

We haven't posted in the last couple of days, but so far we are blown away by this amazing city Tokyo. A quick couple of pictures of our 3th day in Tokyo!

we went to Ginza for some good ice coffee and mousse

walked in to an bookstore with cool books about all different kind of DIY, but all in Japanese

We took the subway to Shibuya and snapped these cute girls in traditional clothing

drank some coffee at Starbucks and listened to fun Japanese music

we watched all the people pass by at the big crossing

until we got hungry and grabbed some miso soup with noodles

in Ikebukuro district we listend to some cool Japanese rock on the street

visited a cat cafe where we had the pleasure to play with these cute cats and just relax with some magazines

ended the day by doing groceries and took the subway back to our hotel for a good rest after this long but awesome day!

Just noticed we don't have whole outfit pictures, we'll try to think about it tomorrow!

Sorry for the lack of posts lately, but we couldn't sit at the computer with the great weather we had lately.

We told you guys already about a very cool trip we will be having soon and in just two days we're all set to go.

For 2 whole weeks we'll be chillin' in the land of sushi, karaoke, shopping, manga's and the rising sun JAPAN!

We can't wait, and we'll keep you guys updated as much as we can over there with outfit pictures and all the cool stuff we'll find!

For now we have a whole lot of packing a head of us and not to mention an 11 hour flight!

I wanted to wear my open heels, but I couldn't because of the cold we had this morning!

Lately I'm wearing a lot of pastel coloured clothes. This shirt is my latest 'pastel buy' and I'm absolutly in love with it. Not just because of the colour, but those shoulders are just amazing.

Don't let your eyes fool you though, this shirt is really heavy! After wearing this for a whole day I feel like I had two big bags on my shoulders! Ouch!!
